First off, let me apologize that I might be more quiet than usual on the blog this month. It’s final exams for me and I have to buckle down and lock myself in my room to study.
Last month I told you all that I was to get back on track and run 3 times a week and work on my core. Baby steps. Well I’m proud to say that I have been hitting my 3 training runs a week! However, I only did core x2-3 times a week instead of everyday. But hey, that’s 2-3 times more than February!
Anyways, for April, my goals are to study study study! Haha. Other than that, this month, I’m working on my weight. In the last 4 months, I’ve gained around 15lbs, putting me at 135lbs. Whoa right?
My plan is to pretty much try to cut down on extra high calories snacks that I’ve been munching on such as chips and cookies (SO SO SAD!) but the key word is down, not out. Everything in moderation right?
Another goal is my health. I sucked it up and went to doctor last week and got my blood work done (my arm is still bruised from it!). Turns out I have low iron and low B12. So this month, I’ll be working on getting those levels up. I have supplements already to go and I’m aiming to intake for food of substance (so you know…not chips and cookies lol).
Well there you go, these are my goals for April! Fingers crossed I get my weight in check and my iron/B12 levels up! I’m also racing in a week or so and need to make sure all my ducks are in a row!
